"No Face"

This mysterious camera was billed as a, "Nikomat FT, missing front cover, etc." in March of 2008. The fact that it worked, and had lots of seemingly valuable parts didn't appear to matter to the serious crowd. This gem got only one bid, for $9.99.
While I have not received the camera yet, I do have big plans for it. If it actually works, and the meter is in order, I may just take the nameplate of another Nikkormat in the stable, and have myself a great find. If not, there are lots of parts just waiting to be harvested. First, it comes with an eyepiece, which generally sells for $15. Then, there's the chrome rewind handle, which will fit great on a Nikomat FT I already have. There are probably scores of other parts, pieces, and whatnots on this beast, which will make its purchase worthwhile. Updates to follow!
Update (3/21/08) - No Face arrived, and is magnificent! Sure, it is missing the nameplate, but the rest of the camera is in great shape; much too good to be relegated to the parts pile. The shutter is crisp and snappy, and the body is in excellent shape. It does need some new foam, and, of course the name plate. Those are minor detail, and should be handled quickly. I'll get some before and after shots up as soon as I can.
